lyrics
All in the time of the king knew a glorious life
From an altar of silver he called our name
The honor of all had been bound by the throne
When it crumbled we all were left alone
With his pain
Our lives washed away
And now we strive
To save a reign divine
The fields of green grow black and then decay
Without reason on the throne to guide our way
The people starve, they riot in the streets
Caring nothing for they evil that they greet
Once he rule with power and might!
Once his scepter was our light!
Madness took our king away!
Chaos is here to stay!
A tower of ash billows smoke into the air
The torture seems like all too much to bear
His banners fly torn and burnt throughout the land
To vanquish our disdain is in his hands
His desire burned within her eyes
She burned alive and he lost his mind
In the time of the King...
Remember the glory brought forth by the crown
We lived in triumph and fought for a life divine
We all saw the horror of the Queen's demise
The sound of her screams carried through the night
Our honor we can regenerate
With his guiding hands we can live again
What hope that he lost we will give back to him

Been looking to expand my power metal collection a bit beyond the classics of HammerFall, Blind Guardian, et. al. Not disappointed by these guys in the least. A sound very much inspired by German and Swedish power metal greats imo. caffeinatedmetalhead

So many good things have been said already about this album, no point in repeating them, apart from one improvement that I could imagine, the cover art ! Also for the new album, same comment. sachavonkarl74
